The story of the illustration is inspired by history:
The design of this illustration is based on the history of the Finnish Tivoli, which began in Kerava in 1888. The bumblebee in the illustration pays tribute to the entire Finnish Tivoli bumblebee troupe, which escaped to the city of Kerava sometime in the early 1960s and amazed the residents. It was lured back home with pastries. The illustrations also feature characters from the Circus Market and a variety of circus-themed images. Design ©iloosi 2021
