The story of the illustration is inspired by history:
The design of this illustration is based on the history of Kerava as a central place for circus, fairground and entertainment, which started in 1888. The male character in the picture is inspired by a circus strongman and the elephant in the illustration pays homage to Finland’s very own Pepita the elephant, who performed for a long time in the free shows of the Finnish Tivoli.
